After reading some bad reviews online, I was hesitant to purchase any more comics in this series. But the complaints amount to something like, "The comics don't match the game. Didn't the writer even play the game?" But since I myself haven't played the game, I thought I should just enjoy another decent comic. And that's exactly what Mass Effect Redemption #2 is: decent. Decent art, decent writing, OK storyline.
It won't go into storage until after I'm dead and gone, but it's worth reading on a lazy Saturday night.

How to Draw Noir Comics
I just picked up "How to Draw Noir Comics" by Shawn Martinbrough. The book is packed with information and looks incredible. Shawn's website also looks great. I don't know if I'll ever make a decent looking noir image, but a guy can dream, right?

Mass Effect Redemption #1
"YOU THOUGHT BECAUSE I WAS AN ELCOR (A LITTLE MIFFED), I WOULDN'T BE WATCHING THE GYRATING FLESH-THINGS ALL DAY."
I liked the free 8 page comic that I found on the Bioware site. I liked it enough to buy Mass Effect Redemption #1. That's probably the idea behind the free download, right?
Anyway, Mass Effect Redemption #1 has grabbed my attention and I am looking forward to reading the other three comics.

Mass Effect Incursion
I found Mass Effect Incursion on the bioware site. Click HERE to get the free download. It's only 8 pages, but it's a good, quick read and like I said, it's free.
